The FIU – Banking Sector Forum was held on 22 October 2024, and was attended by 16 participants comprising of officers from the banks’ Risk & Compliance team. The Forum discussed the evolving transnational organized crime threats and trends in Fiji and the region.
The Forum also provided an opportunity for the FIU to discuss key regulatory requirements applicable to banks and the importance of strengthening cooperation within the financial sector in combating serious financial crime in Fiji.
